 Cassie tattoos  – Cute small star tattoo

On her left hip, there’s a cute, little star tattoo, outlined in black and filled-in with red ink to celebrate her status as a hip-hop ‘star’!

This small, black Chinese dragon on her left ankle is a traditional addition to Cassie’s tattoos and a great way to draw attention to a pair of well-shaped ankles!

On the right side of her ribcage, Cassie has chosen an uplifting Latin phrase:

Post tenebras lux

This means ‘after the darkness comes the light’, and refers to positive-thinking phrases meant to encourage us when we feel overwhelmed by life e.g. ‘There’s always light at the end of the tunnel.’

It’s also the title of an ‘art-house’ film by the director, Carlos Reygadas, released in 2012. And in the Christian bible it’s a phrase spoken by Job, who has lots of problems to deal with, translated as, ‘After darkness, I hope for light.’

Cassie tattoos in other languages include the French word for ‘love’. The romantic sounding, ‘Amour’ is written in an attractive vertical curve discreetly placed behind her right ear, cleverly following the ear’s outline!

Cassie tattoos – Egyptian hieroglyphs

This dainty ancient Egyptian Ankh hieroglyph means, ‘life’. The ankh shape is solid black

and resembles a Christian cross, but with a vertical, loop-shape above the ‘arms’. Placed on the nape of the neck, Cassie’s ankh tattoo is usually covered by her long hair.

Cassie’s tats also include three lines of writing on her right buttock, but we don’t know exactly what it says! Apparently, the top two lines say, ‘Made from . . . ‘, so if anyone finds out what Cassie’s bum tattoo says, please let us know!
